Fix typo in info notification when using the "Merge by distance" tool.
Just noticed that the message Blender gives when merging by distance doesn't really make sense in English - "vertice" is not a word. It could say "vertex/vertices". Sure, long and annoying, but correct. :)
This is relatively unimportant, but it being a common typo and the fact that users get familiar with 3d terminology mostly through their tools, makes it a worthy change. ( I remember Captain Disillusion had joked in a presentation on the blender conference about how he was making blender tutorials and using the word Vertice instead of Vertex. )

if vert_count =1 print "vertex" else print "vertices"
* @ Lsscpp * yay, no space wasted
At this point it is a meme in the youtube community and I'm pretty sure most of them say it the wrong way to generate comments :) What would make the most sense is to add a switch in the code to write "vertex" when the value is 0 or 1 and "vertices" in all other cases. Or maybe "Removed x vert(s)". Your proposition adds a little bit of visual clutter
* @Gorgious * I agree about the visual clutter. Thought of the vertex/vertices solution as the simplest way to implement. If adding a switch is something easily done, that's def the best way to deal. Vert(s) would not be consistent with the UI approach to use full words (IE Location, Rotation instead of Loc, Rot)
That is a papercut. try asking about it here: devtalk.blender.org/c/other-topics/usability/
