POP UP warnings when assign hotkeys.
Currently Blender allows the usage of same hotkey to various things, like the same hotkey for 3 different brushes or so.
This eventually can cause some problems, since one tool is called over another.
So a small POP UP with a:
"this shortcut is already assign to TOOL NAME, do you wish to disable the current tool and assign to this new one"
Will be nice and save research time, since there is no need to search over all shortcuts and areas inside the PREFERENCES window.

Rather than a popup, that is either blocking or easily missed, I would prefer what other softwares do: a warning displayed alongside he problematic(s) shortcut entry(ies). Possibly with nice contrasting color for visibility.
That being said, I wonder if this is even simple to implement, since Blender have many identical shortcuts that do not conflict because of context (editors, modal operators, interaction modes, ...).
And you could argue that you can search by shortcuts already, so it's not that big of an issue.
But even then, being able to be at least told there "may" be a conflict with another entry and leave the checking to the user would still be better than the current situation of having to discover (sometimes months after the change) that something was broken because of a keymap change.
