Doubble click image/video file to open in Blender
Thi is probably really niche feature suggestion, but I think it would be really nice if we could open video and image formats by doubble clicking on the file in blender.
So for example if we were to doubble click on video file it would open up Blender and load the file in the scene possibly as a VSE strip or in Movie clip editor (could be a prefference setting) And for image formats straight to Image editor.
Could be nice for quick edits in video or notes on video using Blenders annotation tools.

This is already possible, but you might need to find the instructions to tell the OS you're using to open these files in Blender. See docs.blender.org/manual/en/latest/advanced/command_line/arguments.html and studio.blender.org/blog/media-viewer-by-blender-studio/ as an example that changes Blender into an animation reviewing tool
Oh thats really nice! I saw it coupple years ago and completely forgot about it! Thanks! and sorry for kinda redundant post.
