Multiple monitor issue

If you use multiple monitors with 2.8 and you've torn off screens and dedicated the other windows things like UVs and Nodes. The issues is the other windows change when you select a new tab like Modeling or Layout.

2.79 did not do this. Only the window/scene you changes would change. Not the others windows. Yes this is a paper cut but that's for developers as stated on that page.

This reads more like a bug report than a feature proposal.

I think this was a feature removed to work with workspaces, which are customizable to have different addons on switch in the Blender state. If you had two workspaces at once with the same 3D data, but two different states of addon activation, then it could glitch out. This is unfortunately a feature, as layouts are workspaces now, a window put on operating paradigm.

Tabs Layout, Modeling, Sculpting, UV Editing, Texture Paint, Shading - doesn't touch side windows.

Tabs Animation, Rendering, Compositing, Scripting - did it. Creating new layout preset too.

This is what you need. Image
