Choose which edge is ripped with V and mouse scroll

When ripping vertices with rip, you often find out that blender does the rip exactly in the wrong way you would want to do it. So my idea is to add feature where you could after pressing V, with mouse wheel select the way how the action will be done.(edges that will be ripped)

Blender rips according to your cursor placement at the moment you fire up the operation.

I realized that when I was testing that feature for this, but I also realized, that it does not work very well in situations where you have something little more complex topology.

If you want to control the exact edges, select them both and run edge-split.

It's about the last ripped edge in your operation. You can't select that edge, because then you are ripping one edge too much and you have to fix it after rip operation. And If you don't select it, it is very possible that Blender chooses to rip wrong edge as that last edge.

Did you try use edge split? - Sounds like this is a case it would be useful.
