[Global render loading bar with percentage] & [box select inside Outliner]

This little things would make a workflow improvement to everyone. Right now it's impossible to guess how much remaining time it takes to finish rendering animation. And for the Outliner I think it would be great to have for example CTRL + SHIFT + mouse drag to box select. Right now the only way to quickly select groups of objects inside the Outliner is puting those objects inside a new collection and then right click hover the collection name and then choose Select Objects. I think that someone could came up with a better behavior to do that, but this is just my idea right now. If you feel the same, express yourself in this post, so maybe Devs can change it. Thank you all community.

About rendering, we could make the difference between 2 cases:

  • rendering 1 frame: 1 progress bar is just fine !
  • rendering an animation of several frames: display a second progress bar that shows the overall process.

These are two very different features listed here. I'd recommend you split them into separate proposals so they can be addressed independently.

"Right now it's impossible to guess how much remaining time it takes to finish rendering animation" .time it took for last frame X remaining frames ?

@jens.clar: I agree that isn't impossible but still very strange that blender doesn't show that info right away. First because it's the most important info that you care when you render an animation IMO.
