My vision for blender's future draw functionality /combined with blueprint tool (Short video clip sample)
Draw functionality is considered to be one of the most important tool not only in vector editing softwares but also in 3d modelling softwares which includes CAD.
A new workflow option like this would help make modelling much faster in many cases. Just by drawing lines automatically and in the next point just draw some arc tangent.
These video sample is specifically from fusion 360 but the basic feature can be found on almost all CAD softwares. I hope this feature would be implemented in blender soon.
Thank you blender dev team.

YES, this will 100% be a thing, I guarantee it ... a couple of years from now ... if the guys who make Sverchock don't make it happen then I probably will. not in the short term ... maybe later ... when I'm in college and learn the necessary math to implement a NURBS modelling kernel and realtime constraint solver
this is technically already possible twitter.com/portnov9/status/1304716073296695296 it uses the FreeCAD libraries and it works like a normal CAD program, except you're using nodes. the recompute takes like 15 seconds though. If we use the SLVS solver we could do it IN REALTIME.
if you want to explore SolveSpace for yourself it's available on the web files.whitequark.org/SolveSpace/solvespace.html
Its considered not done to show videos that could cause copyright problems, dont post gui video's as wishes of other software, Blender isn't a copycat
* @peter.boos * that being said I still think this is not only possible to do, but also there are ways to do it much better than F360
for example SolveSpace (which is opensource) and ths solver is also available as a library, meaning it's just waiting for someone to implement it as a BLender add-onn
* @peter.boos * I get what you mean. Although the general idea of the specific feature is likely not copyrighted because it is a basic tool which almost all softwares use.
* @peter.boos * this is blender community, not big deal as it is a forum unlike developer.blender.org
yes, definitely "your" vision, and definitely not Fusion 360s vision....
