Select nodes with errors

In large node trees, it can be hard to spot nodes that throw an error.

A simple operator in the Select menu (e.g. Select > Returns Error) would make it a lot easier, as we could then use the period key to frame them or G to move them around so our T-Rex eyes can spot them more easily.

Another option would be to have an error icon next to the name of nodes that throw errors in the find menu(ctrl+f).

Would be a nice addition but imo not an alternative. The issue I see with that is that when you don't know which nodes have an error, you don't know what to type in the search field, and scrolling through all nodes in a large tree is not practical. Whereas when they're selected, you can :

  • see their outline highlighted
  • jiggle them around with G to make sure to spot them
  • fit them on the screen with the period key

That said, maybe a search filter that would only show nodes with errors in the list would be a working alternative.
