Mouse-mileage friendly rotation tool

Right now it seems the way to rotate an object 180 degrees is to physically drag the mouse cursor to the other side of the object.

This goes against the modern way of thinking anti-UI-sniping and mouse-mileage-awareness into UI/UX.

What any application should thrive to achieve is for the user to not move the mouse/pen more than necessary and to shave cm off of any bad mouse-mileage is a goal in itself. If not for the user who want to be fast and productive then at least for ALL users wrists.

In blender what is required to rotate an object 180 is to move the mouse like so ->

It is easy to imagine how this looks in reality... Mouse/Pen hand moving a loooong way across the mousepad/tablet.

This is easy to resolve by allowing the user to have objects rotate based on mouse movement regardless of position. This combined with Blenders excellent "detail" manipulate feature on Shift key woudl be gamechanging.

This is how the mouse movement should look ->

Non destructive way of fixing this is to make it an option.
