Color hue expressed as degrees

Could you please include the ability to input hue using the degrees unit? This could could be achieved as a general option in preferences, or by adding the letter 'd' at the end of a value (just like rotation). This applies to all colour inputs/nodes and anywhere hue is requested. I am one of those many people who use color hues as a value from 0 to 360.

The main reason is this is the traditional unit in industry and color theory, although I do also understand it is preferred that data is normalized between 0 and 1.

The major consideration I can think of is that the degree unit would be displayed to the user as degrees, but the actual values used would have to be normalized for consistency and calculation.

Please be aware when using degrees is that is cyclic so red is 0d is 360d and equivaent to -360d etc.
