Ability to animate Time (Time Value)
It would be really useful to have a Time value to animate which would be completely different from frame rates. So time value will increase as we go on in the time line, but we could animate how fast the time goes. So we can slow down time and the animated scene would then go on slow motion but the frame rates would keep consistent. Otherwise we will have to scale up the keyframes in the dope sheet, and if there are rigid bodies and particles we will have to animate their settings to go slow for a while, which would make it a lot more complicated. But having a time value, would be super nice. Maybe we could also Animate the time value to negative numbers so we could have the animation go backwards for a while for a playback effect. So devs pls consider this. It would be a very useful feature to have.

A really good idea, something similar is available in editing software and would be so useful in Blender
Upvote, and this is even similar to one thing I was trying to explain in another post. But I do not know if I made myself clear.
I think a problem with this is that you could only view your animations or simulations properly in Blender. You wouldn't be able to upload them on sites like youtube, which I'm assuming don't have support for inconsistent framerates.
* @keyframesarecool * I didn't really understand, I mean, if there was a time value the frame rates would consistent even if I make the scene go in slow-motion.
* @jamesprakashjc * Oh, okay, I understand. I wasn't sure what you were describing.
it has something in common with my post too blender.community/c/rightclickselect/Gkcbbc/
* @Stanislav Ovcharov * yeah kinda, but yours seems to be about image sequences. But that would be very useful too.
