'Counter-Features' Features Request (Cursor-Context, Dialogues, and Menus)

I was directed here by an associate that I may request features I've been hoping for in Blender, some of which might be considered 'counter-feature' features. Despite using Blender for several months now I find that I cannot get used to the 'features' I'm wishing to counter.

First, the idea of 'cursor-context' is annoying and frustratingly tedious. Trying to remember that I need to place my cursor over specific windows/widgets for shortcuts to work is nightmarish. I honestly don't know what to do about this one.

Second, I'm wondering if dialogues can be centered instead of randomly located near the cursor and menus can be made to open with their X and Y set to the cursor position and not randomly on a menu item while also constrained much like Linux or Windows would do if the menu would mistakenly open or reach outside the Display(s).

Third, Blender automatically closes context menus and window menus when cursors are a certain distance away from them. I've never seen this behavior before in software and it is counter-intuitive for me, especially when trying to quickly scan and read menu entries. Linux and Windows do not behave this way as they keep menus open.

There are sooo many shortcuts I don't think there's a way around your first issue. When it comes to the text editors it would be nice if they captured focuse as long as you clicked in there to type already. But that's the only one I can think of where it should be easy to do.

You could probably hire someone to write an addon that counteracts your 2nd issue. 99% of Blender users probably love that feature. It's a huge time saver sometimes.

They can probably fix the 3rd one.

* @thinsoldier * I expect the first issue to never be resolved. As for the second and third, I would do it myself but I despise Python. I might try to find some time to wade through the src and fix it myself. Thank you for replying.

*Edit*: I've gone through the src and it looks like a lot of behavior has been hard-coded around always screwing up menu locations, intentionally. There appears to be no reason to justify this other than (a) random developer(s) committing to this. Logic is located in /source/blender/windowmanager/intern/wm_operators.c . Unfortunately, it would take a bit more effort for me to address than my Python-tolerance would permit. Funny, the "Save changes before closing?" dialog isn't goofed up like every other dialog. I find that to be the most pleasing aspect of this.
