connect nodes (shortcut f) displays popup menu to choose which sockets to connect. good for long range wiring.

when pressing f to connect two nodes, it would be great if a popup menu appeared giving you the option to choose which sockets to connect.

Rather than a pop up text menu, if both nodes could be enlarged and superimposed over the UI so they appear right next to each other, then you could wire them manually. Pressing right mouse would then return to the normal shader editor view.
