More shapekey interpolation options.

More shapekey interpolation options:

Cubic, Akima, B-Spline, Natural / Uniform.

I also wonder would it be possible to give multiple interpolation points to the active shapekey: like if user has 10% active shapekey and then user moves vertices it would be recorded as 10% and then user moves 20% value in shapekey and modifiys vertices again then that would be the shapkey of 20% so user could make own path for one shapekey when animating shapkey 0-100%.

Hi; There was this older, free Addon from Hollowpixel, which allowed for Axes' (X/Y/Z) analysis of the Vertices' default Linear Path of Motion inside a Shape Key itself: youtube.com/watch

That analysis permitted a smarter way to build Non-Linear, for instance, Curved Paths of Motion for the Vertices. Unfortunately, it might not be updated anymore. However, similar solution could be used for vanilla/core Blender implementations.

The lack of spontaneous control inside the Shape Key's 'Interpolation' (A→B, or Value 0.000 to 1.000) corresponds to fundamental flaw or limitation that should be overcomed.

I would suggest someone attempt building an Extension made through AI assistant (e.g., free version of Anthropic Claude).

The current Feature Request proposal is very likely a Duplicate; people have been asking for this kind of Shape Keys improvement for a very long time.
