Blender VSE Light Revamp/UI and Simple Features Proposal (Greater Possibities in Video Editing Features and Addons)

Hello Blender Developers. I would like to revive this request. I already have tried different video editors some of which are the popular ones. Those softwares are good and I could recommend them to anyone.

Blender's Video Editor is not very updated but what impressed me is the sequencer's workflow. The ease and speed of manipulating things are very good and it made me think, if only it has some of the property windows/tabs and features that can compliment it, this would have a chance to be a game changer in blender.
