Semi-orthographic Camera
A camera type that is semi-orthographic semi-perspective. The camera type should be able to still have perspective, but the source of the rays is a plane, so that it's able to see around a wall.

What i mean is, instead of the rays from the camera coming out of one point, it comes out of one plane, this for example eliminates the problem of walls being in the way. And when you have a plane that is shooting out rays from one plane, but the direction is based on a certain point ( prnt.sc/tva70v ). The only extra option i would like is two settings for horizontal and vertical spread of the rays (Scale option for example).
prnt.sc/tvac3x The orthographic camera, needs to be inside the flat, but won't have any perspective. The perspective camera would have perspective but cant have that Field of View without being outside of the flat, e.g. not seeing anything. So my though of a semi-orthographic camera would be able to have the perspective, but the source of the rays is inside the walls.
Are you aware of the Clip Start camera property? Objects between the camera center and the near clipping plane are not displayed. If you put a perspective camera behind the wall and increase its Clip Start value, you should get the desired effect.
For easier control, it may be handy to set the Viewport Display -> Limits camera setting.
* @emu * yep that does it all, thanks. Well, except the only perspective across one axis.
How would that be possible? where a random perspective line would point in the square? Examples?
I don't understand the term "semi-orthographic". Do you mean reverse perspective, like seen here ?
No. The orthographic camera shoots out rays from a plane. What i want is a camera type that shoots out the rays from a plane, but then it also has some perspective "spread of the rays". I basically want this for room settings, so the camera isnt behind some wall.
