Better Text Tools for Motion Design
I would love to see the power of the Animations Nodes Text Object tools combined with the ease-of-use and native implementation of Geometry Nodes. A robust non-destructive node-based and native way to do character-by-character animations that lets you use keyframes on all attributes. Could this be part of a future Geometry Nodes implementation? It would be amazing if it could output text as either text objects, meshes or curves.

Great idea. Terrible proposal :D
The more clear the idea is, the more likely to spark discussion in the community and reach developers. The less questions left before starting a project, the better.
* @Pablo Vazquez * Currently, work is done to make geometry nodes supporting curves. If that does not change Geometry Nodes name, that does not change GN modifier name or implies support of modifier by curves objects. So, support of Text nodes by geometry nodes should not be more complicated. No need for a new editor, new name, new modifier.
We would need ability to modify/animate body of text, font, spacing and geometry (extrusion/bevel). Basically, what is requested, here is : the ability to give a unique value to each character of a title.
I think they hired the person behind animation nodes to do geometry nodes. I don't expect all features of animation nodes to become native code in blender. If there are some important performance issues I can see them adding features to the native API that allow addons to do some things with better performance but not necessarily adding that feature natively to the blender user interface.
Yes, the main developer behind Geometry Nodes is the creator of Animation Nodes.
