improving ss reflections and gi with a 360 camera
it seems a bit complicated but the idea is to program a 360 camera and attach it to a normal camera to catch all the reflections and gi that's happening in the scene and have a separate percentage resolution slider that affects the 360 camera to help cast all the invisible information that exist behind the regular camera into its FOV. if that's possible I think it's way cheaper on resources than to implement an RTX technology that's only supported by Nvidia

What you're basically suggesting is already possible: you just create a custom hdri on set with your 360 camera (great tutorial by pwnisher on that here: youtu.be/MASbLjQ9S_Y ) and use that hdri in your scene.
