Memorize Last Selected in X mode

I oftentimes find myself selecting some edges and realize that some poly's could be deleted. I have to switch to the poly select mode select the polys I wanted to be deleted and delete them, but when I go back to edge mode I have to reselect my edges. This sometimes can be rather undesirable indeed. I was thinking of having a setting where you can have it memorize it or not would be a handy feature that may or may not already exist. If it does I cannot find it.

Basically select edges, or vertices or whatever, go to poly select poly's to be deleted, go back to the other mode and they are still selected the deleted ones are of course not since they do not exist. Works with other modes as well.

Forget 3ds max and enjoy blender.... I do so What is the purpose to do such thing desperately, when there are plenty of very good selection tools, separate vertex group/Face map. Even If you want this so desperately then team up with the artists who also want this feature and then make an addon to prove the usability of such feature because i am here since long time and unless the vote count is not so high blender developer don't mind these request as they are busy on working other more important stuff. we should learn python a bit so that we can develop such tools by ourselves.

You can use vertex group/ Face maps . this can helpyou to save the selection. Select the edges and press "Ctrl+G" and assign new group. it will also help to limil some modifiers. But there is no option specifically for edges.

* @mrajendra2150 * Edges, Vertices etc. Every time you switch back and forth. Doing what you say would have hundreds of groups in a matter of minutes.
