Ability to link sequencer elements between scenes

firefox_fJCQ3t51E5.png To best explain i'll mention my project. I am working on an animated music video. All the audio is already done. And every shot has it's own scene.

To be able to hear the audio while working, i need to add the audio track to each individual scene's sequencer manually. Despite them all having the same audio file, and markers as well.

If it was possible to link sequence channels/elements, even markers that would make it easier to work across multiple scenes.

Or alternatively, let different scenes refer back to one specific sequencer would also work. The sequencer as a whole doesn't fit very well together with many different scenes setups right now.

If there's ideas for other improvements with how the sequencer interacts with scenes let me hear it!

You sort of can do this, if you add a Scene strip to the sequencer, then set its Input to Sequencer rather than Camera, it will link over the complete video sequence, audio included. Looking at your case though, since you only want to have a single backing track for every scene, why don't you set up a template scene that already has the track in place, and copy that scene when making a new one? You would need to do a 'Full Copy' since that's the only option that also copies the video sequencer.
