Workspace Tab Selection with Hotkeys

Just a small workflow proposal: it would be awesome if it was (like in internet browsers) possible to access the workspace tabs by typing ALT + 1 , ALT + 2 and ALT + 3 ... for the first, second and third workspace respectively.

ALT + integer is currently not occupied by any other command, so why not?

Because alt+num will be binded for layer addon

Looks like all eyes are on ALT+ integer, I've dropped a Boolean proposal that uses it, Please check it out.
