Node sockets exposed in the properties of the sidebar

Node sockets should be exposed also in the node properties of the sidebar in the shader editor. Besides consistency, this would facilitate enormously a workflow where, having a very huge node tree, the nodes in the graph are closed and the sidebar is used to change their properties. Plus, now that the Node Preview addon is out, this would be a perfect way to get closer to how working with nodes is done in other apps.

I understand what you mean, and I like the idea, but it is officially called the "sidebar". Please use the official terms so it is not confusing.

I'm not against it. I don't see the benefit. I think this should be easily doable with an addon.
