A Geometry Nodes file format (.gn) for easier sharing

Python (.py) files are great for sharing. They're plain text and can be uploaded anywhere and imported either in the scripting workspace and run directly or as add-ons.

Geometry Nodes recently got a "Tools" variant where people will now start to make tools which previously was Python, but unless you install an add-on, there's no easy way to export just the geometry node as its own file, and even when you do, it's just a .blend file which unless you name it properly isn't easily discernible as a tool.

Grasshopper in Rhino (the grandfather of Geometry Nodes) has it's own .gh format (separate from Rhino's .3dm) and for example, Blueprints in Unreal can be copy and pasted into a text editor, so this should be doable.

A simpler way to distribute geo nodes would indeed by very much welcome. I would also like the possibility obfuscate geo nodes so their code is not readily available to anyone obtaining them.
