shrink wrap mode that doesnt affect detail, only the overall shape

Update: surface deform can be used instead.

I've made a high poly tyre, I'd like to use it in a soft body physic sim, but it will take a looong time because of the poly count.

It would be great if I could simulate a very low poly version which has no tread etc (basically an uncapped cylinder) and then use a shrink wrap to get the very low poly version to reshape the high poly version whilst still maintaining all of the surface detail of the high poly.

IMO, you can use deform instead shrinkwrap to archive tyre deformation
