Selecting color for layer names in Grease Pencil's layers
Chance to select colors for different layer names would be help to see quicker which is example Line art layer, which one Fill layer ect.
This idea was marked as a duplicate of Greasepencil Layer color.

You can do this for layer channels in the dope sheet, but unfortunately the colors don't show in the layers interface.
Enable Preferences > Animation > F-Curves > Channel Group Colors
and
GP Object > Object Data Properties > Display > Custom Channel Color
It would be nice to have this color option used in the Layers list too.
Also, I feel like this is a duplicate of blender.community/c/rightclickselect/mOLG/
