Bulk hide/unhide curves in Graph Editor

Currently, it looks like multiple curves can only be hidden by clicking on the eye icon for each curve.

Instead, what if it only took one click on any of the eye icons that belong to a set of selected channels?

Same thing for any of the channel toggles.

  • Drag select a curve between two keyframes to select the curve → H to hide, Alt H to unhide.
  • Shift select a curve in the channel list, hit H to hide, Alt H to unhide.
  • Tab to toggle protect a selected channel or curve.
  • Toggle the selected channels' mute and protect using Shift W .

You can see all these functions and their shortcuts by looking in the editor's menus or searching the functions in the F3 search bar.

The only missing one is toggling modifiers.

The hide/unhide hotkeys I knew. But I didn't realize that mute and protect were bulk too. Thanks for that!

It sure would be cool if the icons were capable of bulk toggling like the keyboard shortcuts.

True, also it would help to be able to drag-select in the channels' list; as well as shift click two separated channels to select all the inbetweens.

I did manage to box-select contiguous channels from the list on the left, but it's such a crude selection method that it grabbed from the grey area below the list and up. Not much control. The Shift-select-range method that you mention would be ideal for sure (and then perhaps Ctrl could take care of the select non-contiguous).
