2D Grease Pencil Rendering Optimization

Blender does a lot of calculation for 3D rendering. For 2D animation (Grease Pencil), is it possible to strip down some of the calculations for rendering (Some sort of Optimization by some means)? Any suggestion will be highly appreciable. This will greatly reduce the rendering time (to generate video file) for 2D animation.

What do you mean by that ? in what engine ? EEVEE or Workbench ? cause idk if you can get any faster than Workbench.

edit: nevermind, apparently Grease Pencil is rendered completley separatley from 3D objects in all engines
