MODO-like snapping features

I miss those a lot. Snap to EdgeCenter, to PolygonCenter, to Pivot and to Intersection. All these makes life a lot easier.

GIF doesn't seem to work. Here's a link: i.postimg.cc/s2dMCB76/uyuyu.gif

I also like the way modo detects two axis plane for moving objects (nearest to camera angle)

* @impacman * There's a plugin called "advanced transforms"
link here: blenderartists.org/t/advanced-transform/687066/84

It's not perfect but I've been using it a lot and looks promising!

Is there a 'snap only to itself' option planed ? I really miss that. I'm forced to hide the whole scene when I just want to align 2 vertices

I think cad functionalities is one of their priority. I hope blender will start integrating some of these things soon. They already hired a developer to work on this kind of areas but I am not sure what are blender's plan regarding this.

And Blender gives me butterflies again! I've found the new "Edge Center". And i solved the "Snap to intersection" and "Snap to Face Center" with simple Blender solution. Cheers!

the intersection feature is super cool! I didnt even realize modo could do that. Is that new in 13 or was it always there?
