"Affect Only Parents" for Bones

After discovering the "Affect Only Parents" option in Object Mode, I was disappointed to see it doesn't exist for Pose Mode.

It basically allows you to move an object without affecting its children. This would be an insane time-saver for authoring game animations, e.g. long strands of hair that consist of a chain of bones.

The only real way to get this behavior currently is by unparenting the bone and using Child Of constraint with animated influence instead, or using a Copy Transform constraint and a helper bone.

Technically, the "Affect Only Parents" option seems to modify the parent matrix. When moving a parent, the children's Location stays the same. Since this can not be animated, an alternative would be to add counter-movement to the children and keep the parent matrix the same. This might cause issues when paired with rotation, but there's many features that don't provide instantly usable results anyway (see Auto-IK for example).
(It might be worth investigating this issue for Object Mode as well, although that's another topic...)
