C/C++ extensions API?

As a more performant alternative to the Python API and preferably something with access to more low level systems.

Would also be great if it was a little more slow moving than the current Python API, preventing incompatibility issues between Blender versions.

* @luisf.carranza * and you don't get broken .blend files or hundreds of errors because a user doesn't have whatever plugin the author used, ala 3dsmax.

* @luisf.carranza * The suggestions is not about - REMOVE Python and replace it with C++.
