Make setting keys more consistent.

Whenever I have one joint selected and I set a key and choose: "whole character" it still misses some channels for some reason. Also I get different results whether I set the key in the 3d view, or in the graph editor / dope sheets. What does All channels mean vs whole character ? I think this all could be simplified for clarity and speed. Obviously the exact write up would need a more thorough description but I'm curious if anyone else is feeling the need to simplify the animation keying menus/options/process... ?

I wanted to update that I've been animating with Blender for a bit now and I don't think I've been having this issue much any more, I think it's been addressed ? Whole characters seems to catch everything on my character now. Though I have not thoroughly tested this, it seems to be more predictable.

Agreed ,while i had different issues than yours but the whole animation workflow needs simplification, I asked Pablo on the stream today and he had no answer.....we need to bring these issues to the real Devs because there is no presence of them in the community forums.

This isn't really a proposal. Perhaps this is a topic more suited to devtalk?
