Baking Height / Displacement Maps From Other Meshes
In the previous version of blender you could bake displacement and height maps onto a mesh by using the Blender Renderer. This allowed you to quickly make height maps in blender to add details from another mesh. It was also useful for importing and exporting meshes into external sculpting tools such as Zbrush.
Either I'm missing something or it seems that this feature is missing from blender 2.8. The bake settings (that are currently only available in Cycles render engine) have no options for baking heightmaps or displacement maps with details from another mesh. Alternatively, you can bake a displacement mesh using details from your multimesh, but this only covers a few use cases and doesn't take into accounts things like floating geometry or inserts. It also gets in the way of some procedural material workflows.
I assume that this is either an oversight on my part (buried away in some menu?) or a an oversight of removing the internal blender renderer without a cycles equivalent. It shouldn't be too hard of a feature to implement regardless, so it's worth considering.

It's probably not an oversight and something that is planned to be added and reworked, but it's also possible that even with plans to rework a feature, knowing that it's missing, it never gets added back again. It has happened in the past
4 years... (not yet but with the current rhythm... it'll not be anytime soon.......)

Hope it gets added back soon. Doesn't look like it exists in the 2.82 test builds as of right now.
