icon to expand windows
It is very bad to try to click between the lines of the windows to be able to expand or minimize and you are doing this at all times, if you had a bigger icon that used to increase or decrease the windows would be much better

I don't think this is necessary. This can easily be fixed by increasing the size of the space between windows or perhaps using the suggestion in this proposal . The idea is to declutter the interface.
If anything like this was implemented; it should be invisible until the mouse gets within a reasonable vicinity to it. The UI is already to busy and distracting as it is.
Maybe implement in the User Preference a Hotspot setting for the window edges. This way there is no need to incorporate jarring icons into the interface and easily tune window grabbing to each individual's liking.
