"New Image" dialog COLOR field color picker lacks an eyedropper/sampler tool

The NEW IMAGE dialog COLOR field color picker lacks an eyedropper/sampler tool.

How this happened, I don't know: shouldn't ALL the color pickers share the same code?

(Maybe it's just this square picker? (see jpg))

I think this is due to the fact that when the mouse leaves the popup, it (the popup) gets canceled, so using the eyedropper would trigger this behavior.
