Make blender be able to simulate a dripping tap or Faucet that drips into a glass until that glass fills up with water
I want to simulate a tap or Faucet that drips one drop of water at a time into a glass until that glass fills up with water.
I want it to drop one drop of fluid out every 1 second or so and over a period of time it fills the glass up with water.
I have asked this question in a number of discord blender chat rooms, I have asked in blender’s chat room itself and in blenders devs room and all of the chat rooms say it impossible for blender to perform this simulation in the current versions.
So can you make it so blender in the new version that comes out next has a extra part of the fluid simulation that can simulate a dripping motion where one drop of fluid at a time can come out of a tap or faucet or pipe and land into a glass splashing like water would into the domain which is the glass and then as each further drops hit the glass domain, it then starts adding to the previous drops that have entered the glass and then over time, them drops then become a fluid inside the glass and the glass keeps filling up until the fluid reaches the top to the point where it over flows or stops depending on if you make the simulation stop by putting some sort of obstacle in the way like tightening the tap or putting a panel in front of where the drips exit the pipe there by stopping the simulation, that panel could then have the camera or eye icon turned off so it couldn’t be seen in the finished animation.
I am trying to do a art film where the glass with the drops in are the main emphasis of the film.
If this could be achieved I think it would be a game changer for blender as no other 3D animation program such as MAYA or MODO or 3D max or Cinema 4D or any of them can perform this task.
There are no 3D animations of a dripping tap anywhere on the internet.
If this could be put into the next 4.03 or above version of blender it would be amazing.
Thanks for reading this.
Cheers

Then you should plan to release your film in 5 to 15 years, because it would take at least that long for this to happen.
