VR Scene Inspection with Stereo Image Background
I'm using Blender to place assets in an immersive video by projecting one frame of a scene onto a half sphere and using it as reference before rendering the object. For stereoscopic video, the two images (one for each eye) are overlaid in a blurred fashion so I have a rough idea of parallax to judge depth against, but being able to view the scene with actual stereo in a headset would make this process much more precise. By default, the VR Scene Inspector shows me the half-sphere with two images blurred over each other just as in flat, but I what I want is for each eye to see the correct image giving me a stereo effect, so that I get an intuitive look at the depth in the scene.

I think the solution would be being able to access each eye via compositor
