"Isolate mode" - fresh speed [to bring more ability to work with overload scene]
It will be great (if it possible of course) if when you open isolate mode blender will work like it have only 1 object(in memory) and clear scene, in meaning really fast (fresh speed) (even if it have tons of opened scenes and objects). And when you going back to scene - it fast upload all back. Some sort of cleaning buffer (or save it in-to temp file). It bring more opportunity to work with hard and overloaded scenes.
Because I found that at current moment it related with scene, and more overload scene you have - more slower will be work even in isolated mode. And this is feels wrong I think. (in terms of logic)

But then it would have to unload and reload all that information each time you enter isolated view. That would make it frustrating to switch back and forth. It's probably better to organize your scene around performance- in 2.8, you can use View Layers to do something like this.
* @Josephbburg * I have done like that, (with scene and view layers) - but it doesn't help a lot. It feels like blender anyway keep all in memory even if you work with 1 viewed object. And this is give effect. [btw - isolate mode - the same if you will turn off preiew of all the objects at the scene as I understood, so hypotetical it allow to bring speed when you work with a a lot objects] "But then it would have to unload and reload all that information each time" - maybe you are right.. I hoped that it might be possible without knowing another aspects. As way out for me I see only to create all new object in the new scenes and then drag and drop them to the main. Or putting each object that need to edit into new scene and reverting it back.
* @Ruslan * That's actually a better way to work, in my opinion. Linking saves Blender some of the memory, especially for undo/redo, since the data is in a different file and doesn't have to be updated. You shouldn't have to do any reverting if you use linking. Anyways, 2.81 or 2.82 will bring dynamic overrides, which will make this workflow much easier. Just gotta wait a little longer.
