Show full name in dropdown list

Currently, dropdown lists in Blender cut off the names of actions, materials, and nla items if the name is too long. I have multiple of the same type of action and need to add a little detail at the end of the name. It would be better for users to be able to just scroll and click on the desired item instead of having to hover each time to see the full name.

I noticed that the F3 menu has twice the box size of the dropdown lists, so I don't see any reason why the dropdown lists couldn't also have the same size. This would make it much easier to see the full names of all the items in the list, regardless of their length.
