Cancel computation of nodes

In Grasshopper (CAD software based on nodes), you can cancel a computation by pressing ESC at any time. The system will revert to the state it was just before the calculation started, typically a value change or noodle disconnected. This is life saving when you bump up a scattering of object a few order of magnitudes too high.... Would it be possible to implement this in Blender GN?

I was thinking of how this could be implemented. Maybe we can have a loading bar like the rendering one, but normally it wont take that long. And them I thought that it could be automated: If the calculation is taking longer than a threshold popup a warning on the status bar, like when windows halts for some reason, asking if you want to wait or kill it. That can be a solution that don't disrupt the current workflow like pressing "esc" for stopping the operation.

Yes that's a good point. Furthermore, in grasshopper, as it is CAD, some operations just take time to compute, this is not a real time animation software, so I guess that this feature is pretty much mandatory. Meaning that in the case of blender, a pop up seems a very good idea since a computation taking very long is generally a very bad sign.... or at least warn the user that "attribute text" is checked ON before trying to display a bazilion text on the screen!
