Comb feature: comb only under mouse cursor.

I'm loving the new grooming tools, i'm wondering is there a way we can comb only what's initially under the mouse cursor before clicking?

I'm currently working on stylized hairstyles for work with big chunky geometry hair. Almost like a masking for the curve under the mouse. I would love to combine the sphere combing shape with a under mouse cursor only option.

I think this would really speed up grooming workflow as i often find in grooming hair for characters, i only need to adjust a single strand at times.
