Easier Object Alignment by Customizable Highlights of Blender's grid Lines

Hello Guys. I would like to request a feature where you can have the option to highlight assigned each grid line that will snap to an object.

This will be helpful in aligning objects near to precision. This feature also has a lot of potential to have some additional upgrades like the rulers and protractors similar to sketchup.

I hope we can add this to blender soon.
