Separate Page or drafts for posting
While I was typing an idea, I accidentally pressed the forward button on my mouse and it happened that I had forward history to jump to. Meaning all the typing I did would have to start from the beginning (had the text not be available in the Text/submit area by going back to the history/previous page)
This could just as well happen with the backspace/history.
There weren't any warnings, it just left the page. I copied it to my clipboard while I'm writing this just to be safe.
Oh yeah, the idea is for either a warning, or a cache to prevent posts from being deleted before they're submitted

Which browser were you doing this with? Most of the time, the browser caches textfield data for me when I do it. Will certainly need to test this.
Firefox. Yeah the cache was there when I went back to the page a clicked submit but there were 0 warnings and I was already coming to terms that my text was lost. Doubt it would've been there if I clicked [X]
So rather than a separate 'drafts' mechanism (although that idea has merit of its own for other reasons), would it be sufficient if you received a browser warning when trying to leave page that you've got unsubmitted text in?
yes.......also is ctrl+enter supposed to do something? It's written in the send button but pressing them does nothing.
It should submit your post when you press <kbd>Ctrl</kbd>+<kbd>Enter</kbd>. That way you can get new paragraphs by pressing <kbd>Enter</kbd>.
But... just now trying it, that seems to be broken. Bummer.
