Render Output

Not a life changing idea but it would be cool if you could set renders to be emailed on completion. We could set something to render, go to work, uni etc and be able to see the render as soon as it's complete.

i think in the compositor you can set the render result to be saved to disk when it is finished. Set it to be saved in your dropbox/google drive/ one drive/ icloud, etc and then you have your wish.

Someone could potentially set up an addon with an API that works with gmail or something similar to send you the email, but for reasons @-L0Lock- explained, it will likely never be included in vanilla blender.

That would require quite beefy servers...

Also, new requirement since 3.0 :

Blender does not include add-ons in a release that require internet to work, unless it connects to blender.org based on explicit user permission. For such (new) add-ons we will start a new module on blender.org .
