instance time offset

you have a blade of grass animated using keyframes/graph editor modifiers, or geometry nodes, and it's instanced 1000 times. You don't want all of the instances to move at the same time when emulating wind blowing across a field for example.

an instance time offset node, or time offset property on existing instance nodes would accept a float value into which you could connect a noise or random float node to achieve this.

0 to 1 should refer to start of timeline to end of timeline (normalised frame range), making it more obvious what a noise texture would do.

This would help so much! To my knowledge, theres not a single way to time offset an actual instance of something?

Is it possible with alembics? The important thing is really only loading the geo into the memory once.
