camera-light linking
We have light linking now, making lights only affect some objects ect... but that's virtually useless compared to how often we need light to be visible only by some cameras. Very rarely you want object to be lit only by some lights, but you ALWAYS want to do a specific lighting based on your camera.
SO I don't get why this wasn't done before light linking: camera- light linking.
Basically say to that collection, lights inside you are only gonna be visible to this list of cameras.
Because currently the workaround is absolute hell, you need to put you camera's lights in a collection, make an instance, reset the location to 0,0,0, animate the viewport & render visibility in synch to the camera markers, then you realize you need to be on a frame where the emtpy (colection instance of each lights collection) is visible, in order to see the keyframes and continue synching them with all the camera markers. THEN if you edit your camera markers and forget to edit AAAALL your light collections insatnces, your next render will be wacked, ect.. ect.. ect...
It's aboslute hell but that's the only way we can currently make short films in blender without using a complex and rigid studio pipeline that breaks down and separate shots into different files ect..
But blender is made to be able to do shorts with 1 or a couple people, meaning doing everything super fast and efficiently with camera markers, the whole thing there in front of you in a file, but that absence of way to make lights visible only to certain cameras, it probably one of the worst pain point in any blender production imho. And it seems like it would require so little lines of code, it's wayy simpler than linking lights to objects, it's just: this collection's lights, are only visible to this or these cameras, other cams ignore these lights when rendering.

The addon is named LightCuts and will release it on BM in a couple days hopefully, it's works super well lol. it's one click to enable and that's it, all done. you can light each of your shots without any additional click.
well, made an addon that does it in the most perfect way. hyped.
