Blender TABs
This problem are stupid, while Blender was changes 3x times UI concept in 10 years!
Please, developers, just give us extra columns for tabs!!! No need for difficult APIs, extra plugins, extra architecture of preference etc. Just one more (two more, three more...) columns for TABS.
In future it could be color personalised, grouped, icon marked etc...

Needs a smarter approach because then you will just want a third row lol
Simple Tabs addon works well for me. I think Blender is trying to avoid the overcluttering.
I'd rather let the user chose which tab to populate, rather than adding more clutter just to delay the issue.
