Better feedback for Texture Baking progress

When texture baking multiple objects, it would be useful to know the overall progress instead of just the current object's progress.

Right now, Blender shows a progress meter (0-100%) for each object that it's baking. But it resets for each object without any indication of which object is baking, nor does it give any indication of the overall progress.

There is plenty of room in the lower status bar to display:

  1. Which object is currently baking
  2. Some sense of how many objects are left ("Object 2 of 9")
  3. An estimated time remaining for ALL objects.

I'm aware that you can mouseOver the progress bar and see the remaining time--but that's only for the current object being baked.

Nice idea. One and two can be easily added. The third one is complex as you don’t know how long the baking process of a specific object takes after it’s first sample. The time will be very jumpy when switching objects…

Would love a progressive render view like Octane Blender has for baking or like the normal Blender render view. It is SO helpful to see the progress of the render during baking like overlapping UV islands, bad lighting, hidden meshes accidentally overlapping etc. Especially if there was a render queue that showed each image baking in a list like Houdini's new RenderView.
