Add new collection on pivot tool not only 3d cursor
Right now when we adding the collection object instance, the place where is located new collection is there where 3d cursor is located. But I often hide 3d cursor, and have habits as duplicated object - new object in this same place, then searching new collection instance. Also proposition is to Add new collection on pivot tool not only 3d cursor as standard now, thats mind if pivot tool is :
- bound boxing center then collection is on center
- 3d cursor, then in place of 3d cursor
- individual origin, then on origin point
- median point, then around
- active element, then on origin of element
Something like this.. Waiting for opinion or suggestion, coz I'm not sure around why my habits are wrong here and have dissonance when working with new collections instances

Right now, a collection has no presence in the 3D space at all, it's just an abstract organizational entity.

Right. So you are talking about Instances, not collections themselves.
The collection itself does have a point in space that determines where the origin point of instances will be located. Blender does not do a good job of showing you where the location is or how to change it.
