Ability to disable looping and "delay," playback for auto keying

I've been working a lot with the auto-keyframe feature recently. It's really cool, and great for being able to add natural feeling jitters and wiggles to things, but I'm running into 2 issues:

  1. If I want something to say, move along the X & Y axis as it's animated, I have to press spacebar, then quickly press G > X + SHIFT + Z in order to start animating. This causes me to miss the first second or so of animation, which makes it hard if I'm trying to line up those motions to an existing animation.

  2. When the timeline loops, it overrides the existing keyframes. This usually ends up messing with the beginning of the animation and is really undesirable.

I propose some solutions. First, allow for timeline looping to be disabled. This should eliminate problem #2. Second, in the autokeyframe menu, allow users to set a countdown delay to allow users to prepare for the animation before the playhead starts moving.
