Quickly connect multiple verts to a single in Edit Mode

Some times, I just want to select verts (multiple) I want to connect to another (one). Why isn't this possible. On the image there, you can see the verts at the top connecting to a SINGLE VERT at the bottom. The way you could that is to have the verts connect to the LAST SELECTED VERT. If one of those MANY SELECTED VERTS already connect to the LAST SELECTED VERT, it should just ignore that particular vert and connect with those that aren't connected to the last vert. SORRY FOR THE LONG EXPLANATION. I TRY TO CREATE A PROPER SNIPPET NEXT TIME!

Vote UP. But actions sequence does not looks so bad and slow to be done - Select + Inset + Select " Lats " to connect to.

Image Image If it need to preserve UVs this option also available.

In most of ordinary cases good old Ctrl+T " Triangulate " work well. In others - manually connect is not so hard to do task.

* @forestgumpovu4 * your first one could be a Shift+J multijoin

testure

well I did it but not totally finished

hi I show 2 ideas I had around this -multijoin tool -merge face option in automerge hmm I tried to join the gif I made but not playing. I feel stupid

* @zgorg2004 * That could just be "J". Assigning the SHIFT + J keymap for that won't be necessary. "J" can intelligently do so by default.

You can already do this. Ctrl+M for the merge options, then chose what you need. Last if it's the last vertex you chose, first for the first etc. TONS of options

* @daniellapalme * Just " Merge " TONS of options doesn't do what he asking for.

* @forestgumpovu4 * Oh my bad, I get it now. Drawing edges, not merging.
